MIDLAND, TEXAS - November is Alzheimer's Awareness Month and one local group is hoping to help Alzheimer's patients and their caregivers. The Patio caregiver respite program provides adult day care for seniors from 1-5 p.m. every Thursday at Midland Lutheran Church. The volunteer-run program marked its fifth anniversary with an open house last month. The program currently serves three clients, but can accommodate up to 10
