ABILENE, TEXAS - Start the month off right by participating in Abilene Gives, a 24-hour gift-giving marathon today that ends at midnight.

The online donation event is organized by the Community Foundation of Abilene. As of 7:00 a.m., $17,554 had been raised from 257 gifts at the abilenegives.org website.
