ODESSA, TEXAS - Although ministers are on call 24/7, Connection Christian Church Rev. Dawn Weaks and her family are taking a sabbatical this summer to learn about plying their craft in the oilfield.

The opportunity is thanks to a $15,000 grant, which she applied for from the Louisville Institute in Louisville, Kentucky. Her sabbatical starts May 12 and goes through August 10 ...
