EL PASO, TEXAS - A man was arrested by El Paso police after a call that a man with a gun had allegedly threatened someone during Sunday Mass at a Catholic church in the far East Side.
The incident occurred during the 11:30 a.m. Mass at St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, also known as Mother Cabrini, at 12200 Vista Del Sol Drive near Loop 375, the Catholic Diocese of El Paso said in a statement.
The diocese said that a man was detained following a reported altercation with another person in the church building outside of the sanctuary. No threat was made to congregants and the Mass was celebrated without interruption ...
