In the News ... "A Window Into Faith"

MIDLAND, TEXAS - Within the Holy Family Chapel at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Midland, the blank crème walls provide serenity and calm from the busy street outside.

But, stay in the chapel long enough, and the walls become a canvas for the rich hues of reds, blues, purples and greens emanating from the stained glass windows created by Fort Davis-based artist Jeff Smith.

The altar window, entitled “Let There be Light,” is a 16-panel window filled with abstract “strokes” of colors and a balance of bright and dark stained glass.
