Reports From Lulwanda: Program Coordinator's Report for March 2015

Natalie Rolfe serves Lulwanda Children's Home in Uganda as program coordinator: organizing and coordinating the programs of the Home, school, and clinic; overseeing sponsor connection and relationships (on the side of the children); and hosting American visitors that come to the Home.

February, 2015

March marks the middle of term one for all of our students at Lulwanda Primary School and also our older students at boarding school. And the middle of the term marks the long awaited visitation days ...

... March ended with some much anticipated excitement within the administration of Lulwanda, as we began the process of visiting the villages of potential new orphans who will join the Lulwanda family this year. With the presence of the District Probation Office (like the lead CPS worker), Mama Aidah, and some LCH administration, we began the process of social inquiries to legitimize the stories of the proposed orphans and assess their current health and living situations. Please pray with us as we continue the process of legally bringing in ten new children to the Lulwanda Family.

And in random news, March officially ended the dessert-like dry season. The rains have begun!
