MIDLAND, TEXAS - For the past three years, the Loving Arms Ministry at Crestview Baptist Church has sought to bring comfort and healing to people facing obstacles such as depression, addiction, family issues and more.
“We reach out to those who are hurting and broken,” ministry leader Sherry Thomas said of the volunteer-based support group program.
When Kathy Webster, another leader in the Loving Arms Ministry, read an article about Ruth Graham and Friends Ministry, she and Thomas set out to bring the group — headed by the daughter of evangelist Billy Graham — to Midland.
