MIDLAND, TEXAS - “You can’t take your food for granted,” Lee High School sophomore Ross Whitten said. “Some people have to live without food.”
Whitten and 10 to 15 other local teenagers — all members of Christ Church Midland’s youth group — have made the decision to go without lunch today. Or dinner tonight. Or breakfast and lunch tomorrow. Teens in the youth group, along with members of a youth group from St. Clements Church in El Paso, will participate in the worldwide World Vision 30 Hour Famine today and Saturday."
