How often have you wondered, where are the young adults in the PC(USA)? Wonder no longer. The 2014 Presbyterian Mission Yearbook for Prayer and Study is devoted to the theme of young adults in the church. PRESBYTERY OF NORTHUMBERLAND, PENNSYLVANIA - We at Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church in Mill Hall consider ourselves a family of God. And when a need arises, our family comes together, with members giving freely of their time and talents to anything placed before them. That is exactly how our prosthesis ministry started. We had recently learned that 35 percent of all women diagnosed with breast cancer have a mastectomy and that 35 percent of those have no insurance coverage for reconstructive surgery.

We could not find any groups in the state that provided prostheses as a ministry, so we decided to move forward and see where God led us ...
