• Zion Lutheran needs volunteers

ABILENE, TEXAS - An ambitious project requiring lots of volunteers is coming to Zion Lutheran Church, 2801 Antilley Road.
On Aug. 26, the church is planned “One Heart, One City,” a project to pack 4,000 food boxes in conjunction with Children’s Hunger Fund and Global Samaritan Resources. The boxes will be distributed in Abilene by participating churches and in other communities through the Mercy Network.
The food packing will take place from 1:30-3 p.m. at the church. For information, contact Clyde Kieschnick, pastor at Zion, at (325) 690-0121.
