CENTRAL FLORIDA PRESBYTERY - In faithful response to Jesus’ command to feed the hungry and care for the poor, the congregations of Central Florida Presbytery support five hunger ministry partners through the presbytery’s 2-Cents-a-Meal offering. One of these ministries, the Society of St. Andrew , a national gleaning organization with a regional office in central Florida, provides congregations with the opportunity to participate in direct hunger relief by gleaning fresh produce that is distributed to food banks and shelters in the community.
