In the News ... "Interfaith Amigos headed to Lubbock for conference"

• First Regional Interfaith Conference set for April 26

ODESSA, TEXAS - The Interfaith Amigos, internationally known for their discussion on interfaith dialogue, will visit Texas to serve as the keynote speakers for the first Regional Interfaith Conference.

“The conference is all about dialogue between different faiths,” Lubbock Interfaith Association Facilitator Sue Morrow said. “And so it is all about having these different faiths come together and discuss it so we felt the Interfaith Amigos were a perfect fit and we were fortunate enough to get them to come in for this conference.”

Rabbi Ted Falcon, Pastor Don Mackenzie and Imam Jamal Rahman came together shortly after the Sept. 11 tragedy to fill a need that ensued afterward, Falcon said.
