Today in the PC-USA Mission Yearbook

The Mission Yearbook for Prayer & Study is a daily devotional with 365 inspiring mission stories that come from next door and all across the globe. It inspires thousands of Presbyterians daily as they uphold the mission of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in intercessory prayer. The stories in the 2012 Mission Yearbook were gathered around the prayer of Paul for the Colossians, that these faithful brothers and sisters would bear fruit and grow in the knowledge of God (1:10).

MISSION PRESBYTERY OF TEXAS - The 151 churches and 6 new church developments with 30,184 members in Mission Presbytery have been examining the question, "What does a healthy congregation look like?" For the congregation of Forest Hills Presbyterian Church (FHPC) in Helotes, Texas, part of the answer is outwardly focused mission — "to be a sign in and for the world of the new reality which God has made available to people in Jesus Christ" (Book of Order, G-3.0200a). It is one part of their three-part mission.
