FLINT RIVER PRESBYTERY, GEORGIA - Presbyterian Church of Warner Robins, Georgia, took a leap of faith, and asked the presbytery to join its efforts to launch a new mission in Middle Georgia. Their aim was to create a third space in the area where individuals of all ages could gather for coffee, conversation, and community. This congregation's efforts were joined by the presbytery's New Church Development Committee, the Synod of the South Atlantic, the General Assembly Mission Council of the PC(USA), and neighboring congregations to open a coffeehouse to use as the gathering place for a new community of disciples and a launching pad for mission to the Warner Robins area and the world.
