It inspires thousands of Presbyterians daily as they uphold the mission of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in intercessory prayer. PRESBYTERY OF GENESSEE VALLEY, NEW YORK - People’s Ministry in Christ (PMIC) was established in 1995 as a Presbyterian presence in downtown Rochester. The small worshiping community of about two dozen (mostly adults) is multiracial, with many fighting addictions, mental illness, or both. PMIC is a light in its neighborhood, and its people have grown closer to God and to each other.
