MIDLAND, TEXAS - The Rev. Steven Russell “Steve” Brooks grew up attending the First United Methodist Church of Tulia, south of Amarillo, and he sat every Sunday in the pew in front of noted western artist Kenneth Wyatt, who saw Brooks’ potential long before he thought of it himself.
