June 13 — Heading Out from Entebbe
1:06 pm. Updates are now coming from the team….Good morning from Fort Portal. The teamed arrived intact, but exhausted. We arrived at Entebbe at about 0700, after retrieving our bags we drove in to Kampala to the Toro Kingdom Palace (think embassy). We had breakfast with the Queen Mother, which produced a photo op for the newspaper. After exchanging money and purchasing new tires for the vans we were off on a five hour ride to Fort Portal.
