In the News ... "Church Under the Bridge to get new home"

MIDLAND, TEXAS - After operating out of a trailer for nearly two years, Church Under The Bridge has finally found a home. Located on East Industrial Avenue, just south of downtown, the church will soon begin preparing the plot of land as its permanent location.

“There are so many things that are going to be so beneficial for them once we get the spot,” said Evan Rogers, founder and recently ordained pastor of Church Under the Bridge. “It’s not just about Church Under the Bridge having land and having a building. It’s going to serve so many different purposes. Working out of a trailer, there is only so much we can do, (but) once we have our own facilities (we can) dream big.”

Dreams that Rogers said the ministry hopes to fulfill include various resources that could prove valuable for the homeless as they seek to transition from the streets back onto their feet again ...
