Hello from India!
I'm two weeks into my three week adventure in India and Nepal, and spent the day with the kids in Marocha, India. This school launched in April and the most of the kids had never been to school before. So before learning the alphabet and mathematics, they first had to learn how to properly hold a pencil. They've come a long way since then and are slowly learning English now too.
The children worked on their sponsor letters today, and we did headshot photos of every child. I also met with some of the parents, and they are grateful for this school and the opportunity for their kids to get a proper education. Only 8 of the children in this school have sponsors, and we are praying for more. You can sponsor a child for $38/mo and help provide a bright future that would not be possible without this education.
