Metalcore band’s frontman talks about playing Rock the Desert

MIDLAND, TEXAS - Christain music sure has come a long way from the days when Amy Grant, Petra and Stryper were dominating the genre, and play on secular radio or promotion was virtually non-existant.The Devil Wears Prada, a six-man group formed in 2005 in Dayton, Ohio, is a fairly new presence on the scene, but with three full-length albums and a rep for a solid live show, they are quickly emerging as one of the top metalcore bands in the world.
The band is scheduled to play August 5 at the Rock the Desert festival.
