MIDLAND, TEXAS - It's hard for Layne Coco to put into words the way her life was changed after visiting Kenya on a medical mission trip in August.
"It's such a life-changing experience," she said. "It affects your every day thoughts and actions."
Coco visited orphanages and feeding stations as a part of Golf Course Road Church of Christ's Kenya Orphans and Widows ministry. On November 5, the ministry will hold its second annual Kick for Kenya benefit race at 9 a.m. All proceeds from the $15 entry fee will be donated directly to the Kenya ministry to benefit orphans and widows.
