MIDLAND, TEXAS - The Rev. Joseph Prem Sunil Thumma, a native of the small village of Warangal in Andhra Pradesh, India, is adjusting to West Texas life while serving as assistant pastor of St. Stephen's Catholic Church.
He came to the U.S. via Detroit-Dallas-San Angelo and was ordained in the San Angelo Diocese on June 4.
"Midland is just like my hometown -- dry," Prem said, smiling. "But I would like to see rain."
