MIDLAND, TEXAS - Hip-hop has always been an integral part of Roy Perkins’ life. Known by his stage name, Big Perk, the 35 year-old rapper has opened for high-profile artists like Ludacris and Rick Ross. But after a brief hiatus in 2011, Perkins decided to refocus.

He decided on using his music as a means to deliver a Christian message.

With his music collective God’s Way, Big Perk will headline the stage at Cornerstone Fellowship Church on Friday as part of the church’s 2015 Community Toy Drive ...
