WAW Wednesday ... "9/26/18 -- Mutuality in Mission"

"The Word at Work is a ministry that mobilizes churches and individuals to answer God's call to minister to those in need," writes Rev. Tim Tam, Director of the Amarillo, Texas-based ministry. "Through our relationships, God reveals needs and opportunities for service. As we come along side the poor, new friendships develop and doors for ministry open. As we serve, God provides the resources to supply for the needs he reveals."

WAW Wednesday: "9/26/18 -- Mutuality in Mission"

Friends,

The heat was intense this Sunday morning. The members of Exodus and First Stone Churches greeted their U.S. friends from Discovery Church lovingly with hugs and laughter. The air was thick with the Holy Spirit as they worshiped God together. New believers were baptized. An incredible way to begin a week of ministry together.

This connection is changing the lives of Belize young people through education and encouragement. In a beautiful exchange, the faith of Belize believers is strengthening Discovery's ministry at home. Together they are doing more than building a "church", they are being the Church.

There are more connections like this one to be made through The Word at Work. Will you help make them possible by becoming a donor today?

Please hit the GIVE button or send your gift to our office... by giving you are making more connections that honor God. Thank you!

Gratefully,

Tim Tam
