Where I'll Be NEXT Sunday ...

• Our church going on the road for World Communion Sunday

This next Sunday, we will NOT be having our usual worship service at Grace Presbyterian Church of Midland, Texas ...

Sunday, October 6, is World Communion Sunday for 2019, and we will be celebrating with our brothers and sisters of the Burmese/Chin congregation at THEIR church - Christian Fellowship Church of Midland (map link), 2707 N. CR 1280, Midland, TX 79707 - this year.

The Fellowship Christian Church of Midland (founded by refugees from Myanmar/Burma) had been a part of Grace Presbyterian, using its facilities for worship, fellowship and more ... until February 2017. It was cause for a gala celebration , as you can see here ...

And it's NOT just for CFCM and Grace Prez ... ALL are welcome!

Thus it is appropriate that World Communion Sunday is also a time when we receive the annual Peace and Global Witness Offering as a way of continuing the ancient Christian practice of sharing what we have with brothers and sisters in need ..."
