As we enter the last week of our 100% MATCHED Fall Campaign we're hoping (with your help) to reach our huge goal of $100,000. This $100,000 is the first of a total $480,000 we need to raise to complete the building of the Forever Home. This first milestone will allow us to move forward with breaking ground on the property we have purchased in Kathmandu.
The next step will be for the local government to do a final property survey to ensure the proper dimensions for the boundary wall. The COVID-19 pandemic has slowed this process since government offices have been closed for a number of months. Once we have the land surveyed we will use our connections in Nepal to hire a reputable general contractor who will help with finalizing the blueprints and setting a date to physically break ground.
