MIDLAND, TEXAS - River Coffee Co. officially opened its doors Nov. 8 as part of ReNew Life Church at 409 S. Pecos St. The Coffee shop manager and worship leader, Rabe Rodella, said the church wanted to create a space for community in the new building and to bring craft coffee to downtown.

“We have a prime location here in downtown Midland, so we thought a better way to reach out to the community and the heart behind our church as a whole is creating a healthy community,” he said. “People love coffee and conversation so that is how River Coffee Co. was put together. The vision behind it was to create a space for community.”

He said the coffee shop serves locally sourced mpastries including biscotti and cookies from Flour Child Bakedgoods and they will also be partnering with a food truck to add grab-and-go food items for the fridge. The baristas also make handmade syrups for coffee drinks ...
