MIDLAND, TEXAS - - It was a busy Sunday as the Midland County Farmer Bureau and Super Mercado packed and sent off different kinds of food.

"The Farm Bureau has an event they call Food Connection Day where we try to connect farmers with the Bureau and consumers that eat food," says Bill Wight, the President of the Midland County Farmer Bureau.

Going on for more than a decade, the Bureau partners with Super Mercado to give food to those in need. This year, both of them gave hundreds of dollars worth of food to the Midland Baptist Crisis Center ...
