ABILENE, TEXAS - A contemplative worship service, perfect for the contemplative season of Lent, is coming to Abilene on April 2, but in a most unusual setting.

For the evening, The Mill, a popular entertainment venue, will be converted into a sanctuary for a service called Awakening. It is the brainchild of Matthew Broyles, pastor for emerging adults, at First Baptist Church.

Make no mistake. This will not be a traditional Baptist worship service or a traditional service in any denomination.
