Lila (pictured above) is like a lot of teenagers. She loves pizza and playing basketball. Her parents are her heroes and she actually enjoys her homework. She's a leader in our children's home and can't stop breaking into a smile when she's playing with the other kids.
I first met Lila in 2006, months after she came to live in the children's home. Her father passed away when she was a baby and her mother moved in with another man who wanted nothing to do with Lila. So she was left on the steps of a temple at the age of one and a half. She was quickly brought to her new home with the other kids and her life was never the same.
It was so good to visit with Lila last month in Kathmandu, and I got to see all 400 children in the program. God is doing amazing work in Lila's life and the lives of so many children, and none of this would be possible without your prayers and support.
As we enter the Christmas season and the end of this year, I ask that you remember Lila and the children in your end-of-year giving. ServLife is 93% funded for the year and we need your help to fully fund the year. You can donate online here, or mail a check to the address below.
Please pray about making your most generous gift possible, and thank you so much for your support
