FBR Report: Families Flee as Attacks Continue; Photo Essay

The Free Burma Rangers (FBR) is a multi-ethnic humanitarian service movement. They bring help, hope and love to people in the war zones of Burma. Ethnic pro-democracy groups send teams to be trained, supplied and sent into the areas under attack to provide emergency assistance and human rights documentation. Together with other groups, the teams work to serve people in need.

Families Flee as Attacks Continue; Photo Essay

Karen State, Burma/Myanmar: The Burma Army has continued their attacks in Ler Doh Township, Nyaunglebin District, Karen State. Families continue to flee and over 2,000 people are in hiding and running out of food. Free Burma Ranger teams have been to the area and have engaged in land mine clearing, medical relief, and bringing help, hope, and love to the IDPs. Here are some of the photos taken by these teams who are relaying them out.

The Free Burma Ranger’s (FBR) mission is to provide hope, help and love to internally displaced people inside Burma, regardless of ethnicity or religion. Using a network of indigenous field teams, FBR reports on human rights abuses, casualties and the humanitarian needs of people who are under the oppression of the Burma Army.
