The Mission Yearbook for Prayer & Study is a daily devotional with 365 inspiring mission stories that come from next door and all across the globe. It inspires thousands of Presbyterians daily as they uphold the mission of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in intercessory prayer. The stories in the 2012 Mission Yearbook were gathered around the prayer of Paul for the Colossians, that these faithful brothers and sisters would bear fruit and grow in the knowledge of God (1:10).

GUATEMALA (continued) - The Union Sinodica Femenil is the national women's organization of the National Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Guatemala. Established in 1951, the Sinodica now has a membership of about 3,000 women and includes 18 presbyteries and 5 different language groups. The mission of the Sinodica is to train, orient, and accompany Presbyterian women in their different ministries. This is often difficult because of the status of women in the society and in the church.
