The Mission Yearbook for Prayer & Study is a daily devotional with 365 inspiring mission stories that come from next door and all across the globe. It inspires thousands of Presbyterians daily as they uphold the mission of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) in intercessory prayer. JAMAICA AND THE CAYMAN ISLANDS - Crime and violence, especially among adolescents and youth, are major concerns for Jamaica. Statistics indicate that both the perpetrators and victims of crimes are to a large extent youth aged 14 to 24. This is a big concern for the United Church in Jamaica and the Cayman Islands, so we continue to seek ways to positively influence and empower young people.
