MIDLAND, TEXAS - As the conflict in Syria reaches new heights, one group of Syrians has struck a chord with Midlanders.
Watch and Pray International Ministries, founded by Midland pastor the Rev. Getaneh Getaneh, hosted two Christians from Syria on Wednesday and Thursday in Midland to speak about the persecution of Christians in the Muslim-dominated Syria.
Because of the ongoing persecution, the two visitors’ names, photos and identifying details of their stories have not been released. They will return to Syria soon and continue to spread the Gospel, Getaneh said.
