MIDLAND, TEXAS - One local group took a stand against hunger.
Officials report that one in five children goes hungry every day, so church members and volunteers downtown Midland joined together this morning to pursue a global issue, locally, right here in West Texas.
First United Methodist Church in Midland partnered with a charity, Stop Hunger Now, to package 10,000 meals to be sent to 65 countries across the globe.
