Fort Stockton Pioneer
FORT STOCKTON, TEXAS - More than a hundred exchange students stayed at the First Response Ministries shelter earlier this month. The students, from many different countries, are on a 30-day tour of the U.S. that Rotary International offers to those who complete a year residency.
The students arrived in Fort Stockton on the 10th day of their tour, which started in New York City. Hosts gave a warm welcome with hamburgers, hotdogs watermelon, chips and drinks at Rooney Park, followed by a swim in the Comanche Springs Pool.
