ODESSA, TEXAS - The Rev. Michael Robin “Mike” Atkins says the most essential questions that one may ask of God are answered by Jesus Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection.
The new pastor of Kingston Avenue Baptist Church at 5200 Kingston Ave., cited his attendance of a speech by Oxford University Mathematics Professor John Lennox two years ago in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Atkins said Lennox was discussing the movie “God’s Not Dead” when the professor related an encounter with a woman who had lost her family at the Nazi concentration camp at Auschwitz, Poland, during World War II ...
