MIDLAND, TEXAS - or a man who has bested Bobby Flay on national television, the Rev. Leo Patalinghug admits he did take out his rosary at one point. But with his passion for food, it was his talents that won the day on “Throwdown with Bobby Flay.” But Patalinghug isn’t just a priest who likes to cook. He brings a spirit to both food and theology that has come together into a unique message -- one that he is bringing to Midland.
For the third annual Fishers of Men dinner presented by Guadalupe Radio Network (TONIGHT, 6:30 p.m., High Sky Wing of the CAF), Patalinghug will discuss how food and faith are tools to a more profound life.
