In the News ... "Abilene pastor's book targets leadership amid poverty"

ABILENE, TEXAS - Smart students listen to their professors and do what they recommend.

Richard Darden was a smart student. He listened to his professors at Logsdon Seminary and now he’s really glad he did. He earned a doctor of ministry degree in 2015 from Logsdon, located at Hardin-Simmons University. As part of the process, he wrote a Doctor of Ministry project report on developing people of poverty to take leadership positions. The dean at the time, Don Williford, liked what he read.

“Brother Richard,” he said, “you need to turn this into a book.”
