From ECPAT-USA ... "Six Ways To Fight Sex Trafficking This Fall"

ECPAT USA is part of a global network of organizations and individuals working together for the elimination of child prostitution, child pornography and the trafficking of children for sexual purposes. It seeks to encourage the world community to ensure that children everywhere enjoy their fundamental rights free and secure from all forms of commercial sexual exploitation.

"Six Ways To Fight Sex Trafficking This Fall”

Dear Friends of ECPAT-USA,

This season, help us protect children across the country from sex trafficking and exploitation. Six ways you can raise awareness, support our programs, and learn more about exploitation in the U.S. in the upcoming days, weeks, and months are outlined below. Whether you pledge to do one or all six, together, we can build a world where no child is bought, sold, or used for sex.

1. Learn about sex trafficking directly from survivors.

In June, we interviewed members of our Survivors' Council about how they experienced the intersections between sex trafficking and their race, and these conversations continue to be relevant. Read the full Survivor Perspectives series on our blog. Learn more ...

2. Spread the word.

Raise awareness of sex trafficking by viewing one of our PSAs or webinar recordings on our YouTube channel. Watch them now, and then be sure to share with your network to help others learn how they can protect children from exploitation. Learn more ...

3. Use your change to make change.

You can support our work by rounding up your purchases using RoundUp. With the app, when you swipe your debit or credit card like normal, your leftover change to the nearest dollar will go directly to funding our survivor-informed programs. Learn more ...

4. Prevent online exploitation.

Our no-nonsense guides to internet safety provide kids, parents, and educators the tools they need to protect themselves and their families from online exploitation. These resources are available for free in English and Spanish on our site now. Learn more ...

5. Browse our fair trade shop.

The keychains and luggage tags in our online store are made at The Regina Center in Thailand, which provides income-generating skills and opportunities for women and pre-school education for their children. Check them out today. Learn more ...

6. Join our team.

We are currently hiring for three new positions: Director of Public Policy, Director of Educational Initiatives, and Private Sector Engagement Associate. We are a driven, hardworking team dedicated to ending child trafficking. Share our passion? Learn more ...

Your support helps us to continue our meaningful work protecting children from the threat of sexual exploitation and trafficking. Together, let’s keep fighting to create a world where no child is bought, sold, or used for sex.
