From ServLife International ... "From Dreaming to Planning; and Final Days of Matching Grant Fundraiser"

ServLife International is a movement defined by values of God’s kingdom, not programs built around human efforts and activities. The reign and rule of God should be made apparent to every person on the planet, despite their religion, race or socioeconomic status. We believe that issues of justice are inseparable from the good news that Jesus Christ came to proclaim. ServLife exists to take the gospel of Christ and the hope of a better, more just, world to the lives of people we touch. This happens through individual contributions of time, creativity, resources and dreams.

From Dreaming to Planning

Engineering Ministries International works with ministries around the world to design facilities. They graciously sent a volunteer team to Kathmandu in 2019 to help design the new children's home.

Deputy Director Kevin Keiter led the team to "develop from a dream to a set of plans for what this facility design would look like." The team spent time with Udaya and his staff, surveyed the land, met with local officials, and concluded the week with a full presentation of the designs and renderings for the children's home. "Care for the children is very important," Kevin shares. "To see how much they care about these kids was really inspirational to the whole team."

Please consider giving your largest gift ever by the end of the day tomorrow to have it matched up to $50,000.

As we near the end of the last week of our 100% MATCHED Fall Campaign we're hoping (with your help) to reach our huge goal of $100,000. This $100,000 is the first of a total $480,000 we need to raise to complete the building of the Forever Home. This first milestone will allow us to move forward with breaking ground on the property we have purchased in Kathmandu.

The next step will be for the local government to do a final property survey to ensure the proper dimensions for the boundary wall. The COVID-19 pandemic has slowed this process since government offices have been closed for a number of months. Once we have the land surveyed we will use our connections in Nepal to hire a reputable general contractor who will help with finalizing the blueprints and setting a date to physically break ground.

Don't miss out on this opportunity to have your giving matched by the end of this month. Please consider your most generous gift yet to provide a Forever Home for the orphans in Nepal.
