African group to perform at Immanuel Baptist

ODESSA, TEXAS - In Southern Africa in the land-locked country of Zambia, a group of more than 250 school children, mostly orphans, are getting the rare opportunity of a free education at the Zambian Vocal Group Academy.
More than 8,000 miles away, the school’s namesake, Zambian Vocal Group, tour from coast to coast, performing at schools and churches, which, in turn, help the group raise money to run their school. The group is stopping by Immanuel Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Wednesday, where love offerings will be collected to help the group in their mission.
