Word from West Texas: "Duck Butts"

In August, 2008, John P. Van Dusen and his wife moved from Fort Collins, Colorado, to West Texas, to help build The Bridge,a contemporary worship service in a new space in a traditional Protestant church.

Duck Butts

John writes, "Faith is what brings me away from my apartment, down the hill, across the creek and along the trail to a pond created by a small dam. Like Adam trying to remember what Eden looked like, I come to this place seeking paradise lost. In summer the grasses are green and the cerulean pond smells of the riches of life."
