In the News ... "New Christian school opening"

• Embassy Academy officials still interviewing teachers

ODESSA, TEXAS - A school building in Odessa that has sat empty for nearly a decade will welcome children through its doors this fall. Educators with a new Christian school in Odessa say on their brochure that they want to find students ready for a “natural and spiritual education” within a “Kingdom Culture” at its campus opening in a former elementary school building.

The Embassy Academy opens in September for students in pre-K through 12th grade. Classes meet at the former Fannin Early Education Center at 401 N. Kelly in Odessa. The Embassy Academy will follow a class clusters approach in the primary grades (pre-kindergarten and kindergarten, first through third grade and fourth through fifth grade) and on a secondary level, a middle school model of sixth through eighth grade and high school model of ninth through 12th grade.

The school, which will have afterschool programs for elementary students, actively promotes its Christian mission ...
