LUBBOCK, TEXAS - There will be Christmas in October when gift-basket designers at Community Christian Church offer their nearly year-long creations to Lubbock and the South Plains.

From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, women of the church will offer gift baskets that contain not only substance, but art in the arrangements, benefiting Lubbock Meals on Wheels.
