GIVING

Remember this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you shall give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
2 Corinthians 9: 6-8
The verses above remind us all that God loves cheerful givers. We sometimes think that giving is limited to money. God has blessed us with many things in our lives... skills, food, talents, time, love, and even money. If we share them generously God will be happy and we will reap generously.
God is our Creator and he knows what is good for us. He puts a condition however on how we can reap generously. He says...you give generously what you have decided in your heart to give... then you will reap generously...
For us working with MMM in different areas where God has put us to his service, let us learn to give generously our skills, talents, love, money and whatsoever our hearts feels will help resolve situations for the better for human kind.
Application Question: How can I be a more cheerful giver?
Prayer: Oh God, help us understand your will to do that what we should do to help our brothers and sisters who are in dire need of our help. Bless us all in our work to fulfill our dreams in making our lives better. We pray for our donors to keep on being a helping hand to this program of giving people in Africa a sustainable source of drinking water. We pray all this in Jesus’ name. Amen!
