LUBBOCK, TEXAS - Lubbock area church congregations celebrated the birth of Jesus with Christmas Eve services that featured traditional elements including communion and the singing of hymns by candlelight along with the safety precautions made necessary by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Many of the celebrations emphasized safety through social distancing in parking lot services or the use of masks and physical separation in their sanctuaries.
