ABILENE, TEXAS - Hispanic Heritage Month nears the halfway point, having started Sept. 15. It's historically based but today, a time to celebrate the impact of Hispanic on our nation.

In late August, a program titled "Mi Tierra Mexicana” was performed by St. Vincent Pallotti Catholic Church's Ballet Folklorico at the Paramount Theatre. It was an evening of music, dance and, certainly, an abundance of color...
