"Matthew 6:6
Jesus, with instructions on how to pray"
"Here's what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won't be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense God's grace."
The Power of a Prayer: Words to Speak and Pray from The Message by Eugene H. Peterson
A message from Chris Laufer, Coordinator, Faces of Children
Greetings, Faces of Children Prayer Partner,
Please j join us for a time of prayer for children on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. in the Bride's room at First Presbyterian Church, Midland. We'll have lunch ($5) and fellowship after our time of prayer.
If you have prayer concerns or celebrations about children, those who care for them, have authority over them, or, yes, even those who harm them, please send them to me at at claufer@facesofchildren.net, or give me a call.
Thank you for praying,
Chris
