As the 2008 Republican presidential candidate, Mike Huckabee didn’t finish that race in first place. Yet he still remains optimistic about his future, remembering his past and that early in his marriage he had to believe when things for his wife’s health didn’t look as promising. Humbled and desperate, he turned to God saying, “Lord, if you are real, you have to do something.” Although things didn’t get better instantly, his faith got stronger. Mike learned how to trust in His plans.
